Guangdong province achieved a GDP of 6.29 trillion yuan in the first half of 2023, up 5 percent year on year, according to a half-year bulletin by the provincial statistics bureau on Tuesday.
Peng Peng, executive chairman of the Guangdong Society of Economic Reform，told Southern Finance Omnimedia Corp. that offline experiential consumption will continue to evolve, particularly in sectors such as dining, entertainment events,cultural activities,and emerging formats like camping, family-oriented travel, and self-driving tours.
